SCERA 6th Ride for the Arts Set for 8/18

Since 1933, SCERA has been developing and presenting quality arts and entertainment for Utah County families. As with any non-profit charitable organization, donations are an important part of SCERA being able to provide these wholesome and affordable arts-centered activities.

As part of a continuing fundraising effort, SCERA announces their 6th Ride For The Arts, a charity motorcycle ride to take place on Monday August 18. The ride will kick off with prizes, mingling and lunch between 11:30am-12:30pm at Blackball Performance Cycle, 128 South 1380 West, Lindon.

At 1:00pm, the ride will begin, and fellow riders will enjoy a group ride to Wolf Group, ending up in Orem for activities beginning at 6:30pm including a catered dinner from Texas Roadhouse and VIP reception, plus a meet and greet and professional photo taken with country music superstar Phil Vassar. Immediately following, ride participants will have reserved seating for the Vassar concert under the stars at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre.

Phil Vassar's career has seen the release of eight albums, two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year trophies, Billboard Country Songwriter of the Year, and countless soulful and infectious hits including chart-toppers Just Another Day in Paradise and In A Real Love plus Top 5 songs Carlene, Last Day of My Life and American Child. Known as one of Nashville's top tunesmiths, his #1 songs for other artists include My Next Thirty Years by Tim McGraw, She's Right On The Money by Alan Jackson, and Jo Dee Messina's Bye, Bye and I'm Alright.

All the activities are included for $35 for a single rider and $55 for a rider and passenger. 100% of the proceeds will go to support SCERA's Endowment for the Arts. Those interested may register and pay online at www.scera.org or call (801) 225-ARTS.
