BOOM for Equality and Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman) have announced the inaugural event Freedom To Love Now! A Concert for Marriage Equality, to be held October 30, 2012 at New York City's Beacon Theatre.

Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman), who also serves as Music Director and Curator, recruited a star-studded cast including Rufus Wainwright, The National, fun., They Might Be Giants, John Cameron Mitchell with Stephen Trask, Justin VivIan Bond, Toshi Reagon, and more to be announced soon. Proceeds from this event will benefit Freedom to Marry (www.freedomtomarry.org) whose mission is to win marriage nationwide for all Americans.

Special artist presale begins Friday, September 7 at 11am, followed by general on sale Saturday, September 8 at 10am.
