New York-based Guerrilla Broadway LLC is producing a new Broadway musical with famous club kid-turned writer James St. James, slated to feature drag star and YouTube sensation Willam Belli (as Kitty), as well as hair, makeup & costume design by RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE Season 3 winner, Raja (Sutan Amrull).

The musical, currently titled MAD QUEEN, is adapted from the true and imagined diaries of Mr. St. James, and is described by him as a "fabulous but true tale of life in the seedy underbelly of Manhattan's Clubland. This gritty musical examines his rapid descent from 'club-kid king' into the dark and dangerous world of transvestite prostitution on the streets of 90's New York."

The book is co-written by Nicholas Nova, and features a synthesizer-pop musical score composed by Paul Daniel (Cloeter), which accentuates the musical atmosphere of the late '80s and early '90s.

Guerrilla Broadway LLC executives Nova and Daniel have produced original musicals on Broadway in venues such as the Stephen Sondheim Theatre and Studio 54 and have also produced for the New York International Fringe Festival and at Joe's Pub -- The Public Theatre's world-renowned cabaret stage.
