R.Evolución Latina presents Ser o No Cer...vantes
("To be or not to be...Cervantes")

Written by GOYA Award Winner Yolanda García Serrano y Salvador Toscano.
Directed by Yolanda García Serrano.
Presented in Spanish. May 28 & 29 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center.

What if one day we discovered that Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and William Shakespeare were the same person? Can we say for sure that they were two different authors? How is it possible that the two have so many things in common, so many similar characters and so many comparable plots?

To be or Not to Be...Cervantes is a comedy that explores the curious connections between some of history's greatest plays, including Othello and El celoso extremeño, The Taming of the Shrew and La ilustre fregona, and El Quijote and Hamlet. A fun and informative scandal that is sure to shake the foundation of literature, and celebrate two of the world's most important authors!

Francisco Reyes, Modesto Lacen, Luciano Patino

With Yaremis Félix, Freia Canals, Noelle Mauri, and Erika Cazeneuve
