Possum Point Players Accepting Applications for Directors for 2016 Main Stage Season Through 4/16

The shows Harvey, Moon over the Brewery, A Raisin in the Sun, Into the Woods and Miracle on 34th Street will be main stage for Possum Point Players for 2016. The Players are looking for directors.

Jim Hartzell, Director Selection Chair is the contact person for both applications and further information. He has also set a deadline for applications at April 15, 2015. He can be reached at jlhart8@mchsi.com or 302 856-6166.

There are two application forms for potential directors, one for those who have directed shows at PPP before, and one for those who have not. Anyone interested in securing one of the application forms may contact Jim or PPP Executive Administrator Dawn Conaway at executiveadministrator@possumpointplayes.org or 302 856-3460. Forms may also be downloaded from the PPP website at www.possumpointplayers.org.

The shows, with title, author(s), publishing house, show type and approximate time frame are: Harvey: Mary Chase, Dramatists Play Service (dramatists.com), Dinner Theater Comedy, end of January; Moon Over The Brewery: Bruce Graham, Samuel French samuelfrench.com), Comedy (March/April); A Raisin in the Sun: Lorraine Hansberry, Samuel French (samuelfrench.com), Drama, June; Into the Woods, James Lapine/Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Music Theater International (mtishows.com), Musical, September/October. And finally, Miracle on 34th Street: Meredith Wilson, Music Theater International (mtishows.com), Christmas Musical, early December). January - Harvey; Spring Comedy - Moon Over the Brewery; Summer drama - A Raisin in the Sun; Fall musical - Into the Woods; Christmas show - Miracle on 34th Street.
