Late-Night Sandbox Series, presented by Playing with Reality and directed by Alyssa Northrop, runs every 3rd Saturday of the month (January 19, February 16, etc) at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, New York (44-02 23rd Street). 3 unplanned stories. 3 audience volunteers. 1 unforgettable show each month. LATE-NIGHT SANDBOX SERIES marks Playing with Reality's second residency in as many number of years in existence and follows on the heels of the company's successful run of JOURNEY ON: UNLEASH YOUR INNER HERO at the Secret Theatre. The audience watches, and gets the opportunity to voluntarily participate, in the 60-seat Little Theatre space. Utilizing improvisation in a whole new fashion that focuses on characters, relationships and story structure rather than comedy, Playing with Reality invites participants into a fascinating and surprising new realm of theatre.
