In his off-Broadway playwriting debut, Atlantic Ensemble member Rod McLachlan pulls back the curtain on modern television drama at its most extreme. Connie is an intervention counselor and producer on a reality television series which profiles people suffering from addiction. Against her better judgment, her superiors convince her to take on a special, risky case in the hopes of making a riveting, explosive episode. When Connie and her colleagues travel to South Carolina to interview a young meth addict and his family, Connie's own demons resurface and the "explosive episode" threatens to blow up in her face.

Rod McLachlan makes his off-Broadway debut as a playwright, having acted in Atlantic's productions of Edmund, Clean and Two Unrelated Plays by David Mamet: Keep Your Pantheon and School. His one-act comedy Home Therapy Kit was produced at Atlantic and Catch a Rising Star in New York and at the Complex in Los Angeles.

Bob Krakower served as The Actors Theatre of Louisville Resident Director and Director of Actor Training, where he was the creative force behind the bi-yearly Shorts Festivals of New American Plays, producing and directing over 100 plays with such writers as Howard Korder, Lanford Wilson, Jane Anderson, and Jane Martin. He has directed episodes of the television series "Reba" and "What I Like About You," and his recent film Home was an official selection of the Long Beach Film Festival.

Talia Balsam can be seen in the hit series "Mad Men" on AMC and HBO's "Homeland." Jessica Cummings has recently been seen on the New York stage in Broadway's The Seagull and Roundabout's Crimes of the Heart. Making his Atlantic Theater Company debut, John Magaro has appeared in Roundabout Theatre Company's Tigers Be Still as well as the films Not Fade Away and My Soul to Take. Kelly McAndrew appeared in the 2003 Broadway revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and off-Broadway in MCC's Still Life and Signature Theatre Company's Book of Days. Zoe Perry makes her Atlantic debut following her performance in the critically acclaimed production of The Other Place at Manhattan Theatre Club. Luke Robertson has been seen off-Broadway in Neva at The Public, as well as numerous guest spots on television, including "Deception," "The Good Wife," and "Third Watch." Andrew Stewart-Jones appears in the 2013 film Dead Man Down and the new TV series "Golden Boy." Ned Van Zandt comes to Atlantic after New York stage appearances in The Iceman Cometh with Kevin Spacey and The Alexander Plays at Signature.

The design team for Good Television will feature Eric Southern (scenic design), Theresa Squire (costume design), Mary Louise Geiger (lighting design) and Cormac Bluestone (original music and sound design).
