Ricky Martin appeared at the MAC Cosmetics store in Times Square, NYC on Saturday, December 1 to promote World AIDS Day 2012. Check out photos from the event below!
Martin, known for such hits as "Livin' la Vida Loca," has sold over 60 million albums worldwide. He currently stars in the role of 'Che' in the Broadway revival of 'Evita.' It was announced last week that Martin, along with co-stars Elena Roger and Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris, will depart the production in January. The singer will next be seen on the Australian edition of The Voice.
About World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day and the first one was held in 1988.
