On Monday, July 9th, Barbara Cook was interviewed on stage by filmmaker Rick McKay ("Broadway: The Golden Age") at New York City's Lincoln Square Barnes & Noble. In spite of the 97 degree heat wave, the room was filled to over capacity with people standing or sitting in the window sills and waiting up to an hour and a half to have Cook's new CD, "No One is Alone" and McKay's DVD, "Broadway: The Golden Age" signed.

"Broadway: The Golden Age" costars Tammy Grimes (Unsinkable Molly Brown, 42nd Street), Betsy Von Furstenberg (The Gingerbread Lady, The Chalk Garden) and Joan Kobin (Carnival!, Call Me Mister) were among the celebrities who were present, as well as Susan Cukiernik, nutritionist to the stars.
