Photo Flash: BEAUTIFUL's Jessie Mueller & Jake Epstein Featured in New Vanity Fair Piece

Jessie Mueller and Jake Epstein, stars of Broadway's BEAUTIFUL - THE Carole King MUSICAL, recently posed for a new Vanity Fair piece, highlighting the journey of bringing the life of King to the Great White Way - check out the photo below!

In the brief article, book writer Douglas McGrath also opens up about the collaboration between King, Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil for the production.

"They each sat down and let me interview them individually, at the most satisfying and thrilling length," McGrath told Vanity Fair. "It was like seeing a painting you love and being able to pick up the phone and call the artist and say, 'Blue. Really? Why'd you do that?' It's one of the most fun, most miraculous parts of this whole process."

BEAUTIFUL is currently in previews on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, ahead of an official opening night slated for Sunday, January 12, 2014. Tickets range from $75 - $152. BEAUTIFUL plays the following schedule: Tuesdays - Thursdays at 7PM, Wednesdays at 2PM, Fridays at 8PM, Saturdays at 2PM and 8PM, and Sundays at 3PM.
