Photo Coverage: GLAAD Media Awards

The GLAAD Media Awards honor individuals and projects in the media and entertainment industries for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives. On March 29, GLAAD Media Awards were handed out in 25 of this year's 37 media categories. Additional awards will be presented in Los Angeles on April 30 at the Kodak Theatre, and in San Francisco on June 11 at the Westin St. Francis.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.
