Paul Walker's brothers are going to take their brother's place in a few key action scenes in the forthcoming FAST & FURIOUS 7.

Walker, who died in a high-speed crash last November, had filmed most of the franchise's latest film, but his brothers Caleb and Cody will be adding dialogue to scenes when the film picks up shooting this month.

"We had to take time to grieve Paul, the brother we love and lost, and to figure out if we should move on with our film," producers wrote to fans on Facebook Tuesday.

"We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our 'Fast' family," the post continues.

"Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us, too."

"This film is the most important we've ever done together," the post concludes. "It will allow the character of Brian O'Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role."

The movie's release date was pushed back in wake of the tragedy to April 10th, 2015. The film will star Vin Diesel, Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Tony Jaa, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Lucas Black and John Brotherton.
