She's got more magic to do! According to Deadline, Pippin show-stealer Patina Miller has been cast as Commander Paylor in Lionsgate's highly anticipated film THE HUNGER GAMES: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2. The role marks the film debut for the actress and singer.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed with a PIPPIN representative that Miller will not be departing the Tony-winning revival to film the movie.

Miller won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her performance of 'The Leading Player' in Diane Paulus' newest production of PIPPIN, now playing at the Music Box Theater.

The actress was nominated for the 2011 Tony Award for her lead role in Sister Act. She also garnered Drama Desk, Drama League & OCC Award nominations for her performance. Her other theater credits include Off-Broadway's Ragtime, Lost in the Stars, Hair and Romantic Poetry.

Directed by Francis Lawrence and based on the novel by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games: Mockinjay follow Katniss Everdeen's (Jennifer Lawrence) journey as she leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol. As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, Katniss must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance.

Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and Julianne Moore are slated to star with the first part hitting November 21, 2014 and the final film arriving November 20, 2015.
