In the Light Theater Company, in conjunction with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will stage a benefit performance showcasing the works of celebrated and contemporary Broadway composers called Our Time on Wednesday, June 29th at 8 PM in the Student Union Theatre on SUNY Buffalo's North Campus.  

"It is going to be a fun, informal evening with over 15 talented performers from many different areas coming to perform.  The material will range from classic to cutting edge (with a portion of the program dedicated to up-and-coming composer/lyricists)."  states a press release.  Some of the artists whose work will be featured are Brian Lowdermilk (The Woman Upstairs), Adam Guettel (The Light in the Piazza, Floyd Collins), William Finn (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Falsettos), Jason Robert Brown (The Last 5 Years, Parade), Stephen Schwartz (Pippin, Wicked), Andrew Lippa (John and Jen, The Wild Party), and Marc Shaiman (Hairspray).

Our Time will be directed by SUNY Buffalo BFA Music Theatre major Kevin Kennedy.  The cast includes Steve Bednasz, Hallie Clarke, Chris Critelli, Erica Giglio, Max Gukhman, Kevin Kennedy, Elliot Kleinburd, and John Rice.

Tickets for Our Time are $7 and will be sold at the door only.  Half of the proceeds will be donated to BC/EFA.
