The Battery's Down, a new online television series, will premiere it's third episode this Tuesday, April 1, on YouTube featuring a slew of Broadway guest stars.  Filmed in a style similar to "Curb Your Enthusiasm" or "The Office," "The Battery's Down" chronicles the life of young actor Jake Wilson in New York City.  Each twenty-minute, two-part episode will premiere at 12:01AM the first of every month and will also include fellow performers portraying themselves.

With a theme song composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Edges, Johnny and the Sprites), each episode will be written and directed by Wilson and will also feature a new song by a talented musical theatre writer or writing team, including Bryan Louiselle (High School Musical, High School Musical 2), Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy!), David Kirshenbaum (Vanities, Summer of '42), Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because), and Ryan Scott Oliver and Kirsten A. Guenther (Alive at Ten).

The third episode, entitled "Roller Coaster Highway" will guest star Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu, Hairspray), Cheyenne Jackson (Xanadu, All Shook Up), John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Shrek), Mary Testa (See What I Wanna See, Xanadu), Julian Boehning, and Broadway Vocal Coach, Liz Caplan.

Cortney Wolfson (Les Miserables), Ryan Watkinson (Xanadu, Movin' Out), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), and Nina Sturtz will once again join Pasek, Paul, and Wilson as series regulars for Episode 3.  The episode will feature two original songs: "Tell Me So," with music and lyrics by David Kirshenbaum, and "That's Bull" with music and lyrics by Barry Wyner (Calvin Berger).
