What happens when a composer and a lyricist have to write a song for a new musical (invented on the spot), in a style determined by the spin of the dreaded Genre Wheel... IN 20 MINUTES? Brainfrying fun!

Brave musical theater composers and lyricists David Ingber, Erin Hill, Jack Lechner, James Harvey, Kristin Bair and Rosemary Loar will step up to the songwriting plate on April 14 at 7pm at Stage 72 (The Triad). Last week, Drew Fornarola and Adam Spiegel's hysterical number from the "world culture" style musical, "The Wonky Barack Obama" won TUNE IN TIME - much to the chagrin of other world leaders. They narrowly edged out "The Rusty Zord," A Les Miz-style historical epic penned by Dan Wolpow and Kevin Ray.

Celebrity judges for the April 14 show will be award-winning composer/lyricist Adam Gwon, Award-winning cabaret performer Terese Genecco and comedienne Katina Corrao. TUNE IN TIME is hosted by club and cabaret uberhost Emily McNamara (The Chocolate Show, NEWSical, Getting the Band Back Together). Acclaimed musical director Nate Buccieri (Brandy's, The Duplex, Don't Tell Mama) handles piano duties. TUNE IN TIME also features improv comedy veterans Sheila Head and Jordan Houghton.

But the true stars of the evening will be the brains of the writers. Can they write a TUNE IN TIME?
