One of the best ways to live life is to treat it as one big adventure, that way one can never get bored. Indeed it is great to look at life through rose colored glasses, and enjoy the wonders life has to offer. In "Billy's Big Day Out" author Dale L. Stephenson has written an engrossing picture book that encapsulates this very idea

"Billy's Big Day Out" is a highly enthralling story that follows a little black dog named Billy, who lives in the city. One day he visits the farm to spend an afternoon with his Nanna and Grandad. Being the inquisitive and adventurous dog he is, he frolics all over the farm and tries to make friends with every farm animal he sees. Readers will be able to partake of his endearing quest to make friends and see the world through rose colored lenses. It is a lighthearted story with a classical design, reminiscent of children's stories from past eras.

It is an immersive picture book that teaches kids the concept of friendship and family in an ever-changing world. "Billy's Big Day Out" is without a doubt a great read for young one's everywhere.
