Insomnium Theatre Company's second season continues with NIGHTMARE BEFORE INSOMNIUM: PROM. The one night only event promises an immersive horror theatre experience, as well as a killer Halloween party with live music, drinking, and dancing.

Your Sinister Sisters, Lauren Harris and Felicia Lobo, are back with the second annual NIGHTMARE BEFORE INSOMNIUM! Last year, over 200 of you showed up to experience a night not to be forgotten, and this year we will be escorting you through the sequin-filled bloodbath we like to call PROM! NIGHTMARE BEFORE INSOMNIUM: PROM takes place on October 22, 2016 at DCTV, located at 87 Lafayette Street. Doors open at 7:30pm, with shows starting at 8:00pm and 9:30pm. For just $30 at the door ($20 if bought in advance), party-goers become immersed in five terrifying and hysterical one-acts written by Jarrod Allan, Monica Lerch, Katie Looney, Jacob Marx Rice, Matthew Minnicino, and Ry Szelong, directed by Jenna Antoniades, Jake Beck, Sam Gonzalez, Stefanie Abel Horowitz, and Felicia Lobo. The perfect way to start Halloween weekend, following the haunting and hysterical one acts, attendees are invited into the prom themed Halloween party, with live music from NYC band The Boobies and electronic artist Tate Gregor. This event is produced by Zach Donovan and Insomnium Theatre Company.

Insomnium Theatre Company invites audiences to confront their most horrifying nightmares and laugh in the face of their own mortality. Insomnium creates fun and freaky horror theatre that becomes a party when the theatre is done where our guests can meet and interact with artists and each other. Lauren Harris (Telsey + Company) and Felicia Lobo (Theatre Director) collaborated on projects both in and out of school, developing the aesthetic that awoke their inner insomnium. They were brought together by their love of horror movies, agreeing that theatre needed to be reintroduced to the genre. So, the duo set out to create dark, horrifying and, sometimes, hilarious theatre that would keep their audience up at night searching for answers.
