NBC's TODAY Posts Solid Ratings Gains

NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum and deliver substantial ratings growth. Season-to-date, TODAY has posted the largest year-to-year growth of the morning programs in the key demo A25-54. Over the first eight weeks of the season, TODAY has closed the demo gap with GMA by 53% (75k) year-to-year. For the week of November 11 - November 15, TODAY delivered its biggest total viewer and demo audience since the London Olympics and its smallest total viewer gap with GMA in a month.

TODAY Highlights:

· TODAY posts delivery highs in total viewers and A25-54 since second week of the London Olympics (week of 8/6/2012). TODAY also had best A18-49 rating and biggest gap over GMA (+2 tenths) since the same week.

· Over the first seven weeks of the season, TODAY has closed the demo gap with GMA by 53% (75,000) year-to-year.

· Season-to-date, TODAY trails GMA by -67,000 A25-54 viewers Versus a -142,000 deficit during the same period last year.

· TODAY has posted the largest delivery gains Versus the same period last season in rating W/A18-49 (+21%/+18%) and rating W/A25-54 (+15%/+13%).

· TODAY saw demo ratings ties with GMA each morning Monday through Wednesday of last week.
· TODAY trailed by -734,000 total viewers, narrower than both prior week (-821,000) and its 4Q average (-768,000) and it's lowest deficit in a month.

· This was TODAY's narrowest deficit in P2+ in four weeks (since week of 10/14/2013).
· TODAY had its best share of P2+ audience (36.3%) in five weeks while GMA (41.4%) saw its second lowest share season-to-date, down by -0.5 points week-to-week.
