Fox Valley Repertory kicks off their 2014 season with two musical tributes and one musical comedy, including: the ultimate Creedance Clearwater Revival experience with Fortunate Sons, a weekend of the popular Beatles band, American English, and the opening of Fox Valley Rep's hit habit-forming musical production of "Nunsense" at Pheasant Run Resort (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; 630-584-6342).

The Chicago-based band, Fortunate Sons, is coming to Fox Valley Rep for an evening full of the most well-known songs from Creedance Clearwater Revival. With original vintage instruments and spot-on talent, you will be ready to rock to the classic music of the 60s and 70s, including "Down on the Corner," "Good Golly Miss Molly," "Proud Mary," and many more. Fortunate Sons will perform Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 8pm. Tickets are $32.

After sold-out performances, American English returns to rock Pheasant Run with the complete musical history of The Fab Four. With familiar costumes, vintage instruments and special effects, this band is as close as you'll ever get to reliving The Beatles. From The Ed Sullivan show to Abbey Road, you'll be twisting and shouting to all of your favorite Beatles tunes. American English performs Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 8pm. Tickets are $42.

When the five Sisters of Hoboken discover that 52 fellow nuns were accidentally poisoned by their cook, Mother Superior desperately -and hilariously- stages a variety show to raise funds for the burials in Fox Valley Rep's production of Nunsense. Here you'll meet Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of the Novices; streetwise Sister Robert Anne; wannabe-ballerina Sister Mary Leo, and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia. Featuring tap dancing, an audience quiz and comic surprises, this show has become an international hit! Nunsense plays January 16 through March 9, 2014. General show times are Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm, and select Thursdays at 8pm. Tickets are $32-$42, or discounted to $20 when purchased as a subscription package.

Ample free parking and valet services are available at Pheasant Run Resort. The resort and theater is wheelchair accessible and hearing amplification systems are available. Ask the box office about dinner packages with Pheasant Run Resort's award-winning Harvest Restaurant and the Garden Atrium Prime Rib Buffet.

Pheasant Run Resort is located at 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles, IL. For tickets, call the Pheasant Run Box Office at 630-584-6342 or visit www.ticketmaster.com. Additional performance information can be obtained at www.foxvalleyrep.org.
