Casting has been completed for Jip: His Story, the winner of this year's American Harmony Prize, written by Danny Duncan and Emily Klion.

Heading the cast will be Miles Johnson in the title role. Johnson's professional credits include the national tours of Rent and Miss Saigon, and regional appearances such as Goodspeed Opera House's The 60's Project.

Johnson will be joined by Raymond G. Michaud, who is familiar to local audiences from his stint at Goodspeed Opera House where he starred at Woody sin Woody Guthrie's American Song, and from appearances at the Rich Forum, Palace Theater, Music Theatre of Connecticut and The Theatre Artists' Workshop. The crowds at Curtain Call have seen him as King Henry II in The Lion in Winter and, recently, as Sir Thomas More in A Man for All Seasons.

Rounding out the cast are Kennth Boys, Joe Coots, Rosa Curry, Maggi Heilwel, Kiera O'Neil and Ted Yudain.

As the winner of the American Harmony Prize, Jip: His Story will receive a performance of highlights from the musical as a part of Curtain Call's Musical Mondays Series of New Musicals in Concert on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 7:30PM in the Kweskin Theatre.

The evening will be directed by J.D. Higgins. Higgins will be assisted by music director Jeffrey Lodin. Jip: His Story is based on a novel by Katherine Paterson. Call 203-329-8207 or visit www.curtaincallinc.com for reservations or further details.
