Very few seats remain to see Melissa Etheridge in her "This is ME Solo" concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, April 24, at 8 p.m. This limited engagement event with music icon and multiple Grammy Award winning Melissa Etheridge will captivate what is going to be a sold-out crowd.

Melissa's illustrious three-decade career includes 12 studio albums, an Academy Award and multiple Platinum certified records. A cancer survivor, Etheridge has become a leading voice for the LGBT community with incredible poise and grace. Her other distinctions include a Juno Award (Canada's Grammy equivalent), ASCAP's Songwriter of the Year Award, ASCAP's Founders Award, a GLAAD Media Award and 13 additional Grammy nominations. Melissa will be playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, harmonica and piano in what promises to be, in Melissa's own words, "...such an intimate experience with the audience, and it is truly one of my favorite ways to perform." The So Good Vegan Café (109 Danbury Rd., Ridgefield) will serve a free glass of wine with dinner the night of this show when tickets/stubs are presented.

For tickets ($125), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
