This March, it's out with the old and in with the new. Come experience new sights and sounds at Brooklyn Public Library. BPL has programs and activities that the whole family is sure to love. All programs are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Please be advised that programs are subject to change, therefore we suggest calling ahead.

Spotlight on Business
Ever dreamed of starting your own business? BPL's PowerUP! Business Plan Competition may be just what you need. The competition is open to entrepreneurs who are starting businesses in Brooklyn. All entrants will receive instruction in how to write a business plan, a marketing plan and financial statements, as well as make a presentation. In order to be eligible to apply Brooklyn residents, 18 years and older, who are either U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents, must attend one of the following PowerUP! orientation sessions:
