The Hollywood Reporter confirms that MTV has canceled its talk show Nikki & Sara Live after two seasons. In a statement to the site, MTV programming president Susanne Daniels commented, "We are huge fans of Nikki and Sara, they are extremely talented and funny, and we look forward to working with them again. We want them to remain part of the MTV family."

Centering around the latest in pop culture, the series, set in MTV Studios in Times Square, combined fast-paced jokes, celebrity interviews, pre-taped sketches, man-on-the-street pieces and more. Sara and Nikki brought the fun-yet-sharp chemistry they honed on their popular podcast "You Had To Be There," and filtered it through the lens of entertainment, celebrity, music and more.

Sara Schaefer is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, writer and producer, who won two Emmy(R) Awards for her work as Head Blogger on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." Nikki Glaser first gained notoriety during "Last Comic Standing," when she advanced to the semi-finals while still attending college. Schaefer and Glaser co-host the popular comedy podcast "You Had To Be There," which was recently profiled in The New York Times Magazine.

Executive producers on "The Nikki and Sara Show" were Sara Schaefer, Nikki Glaser and Kim Gamble. Rob Anderson helped create and develop the series.
