Lord & Taylor Will Host ‘Shop Smart Do Good’ Event

On October 30, 2012, Lord & Taylor will host "Shop Smart. Do Good! A Fundraising Day" in support of local charitable organizations. The event will give non-profit organizations the opportunity to raise thousands of dollars in one special day. Personal appearances will be made by Olympic Champion and designer, Kristi Yamaguchi, New York Basketball Legend, John Starks, Eric Hatcher of Echo Brands, Senior Vice President of Cosmetics and Parfums for
Hanae Mori, Dean Lewis, and CEO & Author of The 7 Virtues of a Philosopher
Queen, Barb Stegemann, among others. Customers will have the option to receive
complimentary ornament calligraphy, complimentary monogramming on any cashmere purchase, have a balloon character made for the kids or receive a complimentary hand rolled cigar.

Customers may purchase five-dollar tickets to "Shop Smart. Do Good!" in advance from participating organizations or at the store the day of the event.  Participating organizations keep all proceeds from ticket sales, and there is no limit to the number of tickets any organization can sell. Each ticket includes two 25% bonus coupons with limited exclusions to be used toward two items and a 15% savings pass to be used throughout the day on almost everything, including cosmetics and fragrance. Plus, receive an additional 10% off your purchases if you use your Lord & Taylor card.
