Lincoln Center Names New Chief of Public Relations and Media Strategy

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has appointed Mary Caraccioli, an Emmy Award-winning journalist and media executive, as its Chief of Public Relations and Media Strategy. Caraccioli will be responsible for the direction and leadership of the organization's public relations and media strategies and messaging for all institutional initiatives, programs, and performances. She will begin her work in this role on November 18, announced Peter Duffin, Senior Vice President, Brand and Marketing.

Caraccioli has a track record for creating and presenting award-winning content for broadcast, cable and digital mediums, including work at ABC, CNBC, FOX, Comcast and Al Jazeera America. Her most recent role was Senior Vice President of News and Planning at Al Jazeera America, where she managed day-to-day news, feature and arts coverage and major projects from elections to live international television specials.

Caraccioli's award-winning journalism career included stops at CNBC, financial TV's industry leader. She later helped renowned business broadcaster Lou Dobbs, launch his nationally syndicated radio show The Lou Dobbs Financial Report and worked for several years as its lead content producer. She also created Emmy award-winning live shows Good Day Philadelphia on FOX-TV, Money Matters Today for Comcast and two money-themed programs for the ABC TV station group and ABC's LiveWell TV network. She is the founder and lead contributor of the respected personal finance website TheMoneyConfidante.com.

Her work as a communications expert has helped Fortune 100 companies, major event producers and university clients achieve high level results across platforms and face to face. She has been quoted in publications ranging from O Magazine to Parade and many other national and local media outlets.

Caraccioli is a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Interdependence Center and the Delaware Financial Literacy Institute, one of the nation's most comprehensive financial literacy non-profits. She is also on the Dean's advisory board at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business. Mary has earned an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business and BA from the University of Pittsburgh. Caraccioli resides in New York City.
