According to the Daily Mail, Academy Award nominee Leonardo DiCaprio wants to tread the boards - whether that be in a classic play or a new work.

"I'm going to get all of this - the awards and traveling - over with and maybe, just maybe there will be a play," he told the Mail. "I've actually been looking at plays, and I have read a bunch of stuff. I would love to do it. I have thought about theatre on and off over the years, but other things kept getting in the way. Maybe now's the time."

DiCaprio received his fourth Oscar nomination this year for his performance in The Wolf of Wall Street. He was previously nominated for What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Aviator and Blood Diamond.

Other past film credits include The Great Gatsby, Django Unchained, J. Edgar, Inception, Shutter Island, Revolutionary Road, Body of Lies, The Departed, Catch Me If You Can, Gangs of New York, Romeo + Juliet, and, of course, Titanic.
