Internationally adored stage superstar Lea Salonga headlined the super-successful charity concert DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING? in Manila earlier this week and presented the first listen to some new lyrics penned for the forthcoming West End revival of Boublil & Schonberg's celebrated musical MISS SAIGON, in which Salonga originally starred.

Salonga performed the stirring duet "I Still Believe" during the benefit for Typhoon Yolanda relief along with Carla Guevara-Laforteza, complete with new lyrical contributions.

"In the silence of my secret tears / You are here still," Salonga passionately sings in a new audience capture clip of the event.

Of note, DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING? was a two-night concert event held in Manila on January 29 and 30 with proceeds going to those affected by Typhoon Yolanda, with the goal to build 200 new homes for those affected by the disaster.
