Lea Michele Shares Brand New GLEE Cast Photos & Relates 'I Can't Believe It's Our Last Season!'

Lea Michele shares a look at the very last GLEE gallery photo call!

Lea Michele expresses her sadness at the final GLEE cast yearbook gallery photo shoot in a new series of social media messages posted this weekend.

Michele first expressed, "#Glee gallery shoot today for season 6! Can't believe it's our last one! @chordoverstreet @MsAmberPRiley @druidDUDE".

Soon thereafter, Michele followed up, writing, "Can't believe it's our last season! I'm going to miss these guys so much! #GleeSeason6 :(".

Last week, stage and screen star Darren Criss joined with fellow GLEE player Chord Overstreet to offer gleeks a FIRST LOOK at an upcoming sequence from the final season of the hit musical dramedy series in a new social media video as well as offered up yet another look behind the scenes at the final season of the series in a photo shared with co-star Lea Michele from the set of the show.

Criss posed the pic to Twitter, commenting, "Meant to post this at-work-and-sleepy pic last night, but was too at-work-and-sleepy to do it @msleamichele #Glee".

Additionally, Michele also posted a series of photos, first writing, "Today at #Glee w/ @druidDUDE @becbecbobec @chordoverstreet @ANew92 & @lauradreyfuss #GleeSeason6," before following up with, "Today was one of those days at #Glee that makes me so proud to be a part of this amazing show! Directed by my good friend @GLEETV :)" and "Another great pic on set w/ @southbaygirl ... Beyond grateful to be a part of such a beautiful show:) #glee".

In an interview earlier this year, GLEE mastermind Ryan Murphy confirmed that the majority of the leading players from the hit FOX musical dramedy series will be returning for the show's final season, as well as sharing a plethora of new details about what viewers can expect.

Series regulars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, Dot-Marie Jones and Matthew Morrison are all scheduled to appear in the Ohio-focused storyline, which takes place many months after the conclusion of Season Five.

Additionally, recurring guest star Max Adler will have a more pronounced role on the new season, while former series regular Naya Rivera will be showcased in a reduced role.

Reportedly, the plot will focus on Michele's character, Rachel Berry, creating a new Glee club at McKinley High following a humiliating experience headlining a new TV series after her successful Broadway debut last season.

Murphy revealed, "The final season is really its own story and its own location, and while the New York stuff will be alive, the final season is not New York-centric at all," Murphy said. "It really [will be] a lovely, fitting season that ... dwells on the original people that were on the show and what happens to them and how they give back. That really is the last season. .... We'll revisit some of the new kids that came and went. There's a return of the Jane-Matt characters in a big way. It's really interesting, a very sweet, satisfying ending to the story."

GLEE returns for its final season in 2015.
