If you're interested in learning more about jazz, and playing alongside other musicians, join the Queens Jazz OverGround for their monthly Jazz Clinic. The fun doesn't stop there. Stick around for the monthly Jazz Jam immediately after the clinic.

I.A.M. is a not-fot-profit organization based in Flushing that provides educational, legal and personal support to the immigrant community. Join I.A.M. and Flushing Town Hall as they partner for an open mic event . Proceeds from this event will help raise funds for I.A.M's Educational Programs.

Crossing Frets for Tapping is a cross-cultural live improve featuring contemporary and traditional world artist. Join us for an evening with virtuoso pipa player Min Xiao-Fen and komungo century fretted player Jin Hi Kim as they team up with award winning rhumba tapper Max Pollak.

One of the most celebrated jazz clarinetist and saxophonist in modern musicianship, Don Byron and his new Gospel Quintet, will infuse LOVE, PEACE and SOUL into the eclectic sounds of jazz, blues, and gospel. Byron's New Gospel Quintet features a stellar line-up including vocalist Carla Cook, pianist Nat Adderley, Jr., bassist Brad Jones, and drummer Pheeroan Aklaaff.

Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts (FCCA) was founded in 1979 to be a revitalizing force for its community, and a creative catalyst for developing and promoting the arts throughout the Borough of Queens, the most culturally diverse county in the United States. FCCA restored, operates and programs historic Flushing Town Hall (circa 1862) as a multi arts center (on behalf of New York City, which owns the building) and provides services to artists, arts organizations and educational institutions, borough- wide.
