Tony Award nominees and Broadway sweethearts Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana will lead Straight From New York's upcoming Musical Theatre Masterclass in San Francisco on January 21st.

The class is open to the public and takes place at: 6:00PM - 9:00PM, at Valley Youth Theatre 525 North First Street Phoenix, AZ 85004.

Laura Osnes has certainly made her stamp as one of the most popular young female actresses on the Broadway stage. Laura was nominated for a Tony Award for the perilous drama Bonnie & Clyde, shortly followed by her second Tony Award nomination as the title role in the classic Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Laura's other coveted Broadway appearances have been Nellie in South Pacific, and Hope in Anything Goes. Laura also frequently appears in concerts, including Encores!, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and many more!

Santino Fontana was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his role as Prince Topher in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. He can be heard as the voice of Prince Franz in the film, Disney's Frozen. His Broadway debut was Sunday in the Park with George in 2007, and he originated the role of Tony in Billy Elliot. He won a Drama Desk Award for his work in Brighton Beach Memoirs which played Off-Broadway in 2010. On television, he can be seen in The Good Wife, and Royal Pains.
Laura and Santino will be working with musical theatre performers. Song interpretation, acting skills, connecting through song, as well as audition techniques. How to land the roles you want, getting callbacks, determining your "type," choosing the right material, and valuable industry information on how to make it in NYC.


Anyone interested in further developing their audition skills may sign up.
