Originally scheduled to end its Broadway run on December 4, Latinlogues is now set to play its final performance on December 31st at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44 Street). The national tour of the show, featuring the Broadway cast, is set to open at the Byron Carlyle Theater in Miami on January 19, 2006 where it will run through January 21. The entire touring schedule will be announced soon.

Cheech Marin directs Latinologues, a collection of comedic and poignant monologues, performed in English, revealing the Latino experience in America. Latinologues was created and written by Rick Najera, one of America's leading comedy writers with "MAD TV" and "In Living Color" among his credits. Najera, who just last week was honored with his own caricature on Sardi's famed wall, performs in Latinologues along with Jaime Camil, Eugenio Derbez, Rene Lavan, and Shirley A. Rumierk, as they "take on everything from beauty pageants to immigration, shattering Latino stereotypes with hilarious results," according to press notes.

Latinologues is celebrating its 100th performance on Broadway tonight at the Helen Hayes Theatre.
