On Sunday, December 5, the 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honored celebrated the talents and contributions of singer and songwriter Merle Haggard; composer and lyricist Jerry Herman; dancer, choreographer and director Bill T. Jones; songwriter and musician Paul McCartney; and producer, television host and actress Oprah Winfrey. BroadwayWorld reminds you to tune in tonight, December 28, to CBS at 9pm to watch the broadcast of the tribute.

One thing to look forward to is the Jerry Herman tribute. As previously reported, Angela Lansbury introduced the segment, which then kicked off with Kelsey Grammer leading a performance of "We Are What We Are" from "La Cage aux Folles."

Carol Channing then sang "Hello, Jerry" an affectionate variation of "Hello, Dolly" with specialty lyrics. Then Matthew Morrison of performed "It's Today". After that, Christine Baranski and Christine Ebersole teamed up for "Bosom Buddies".

Then came Laura Benanti on "Time Heals Everything," Sutton Foster on "Before the Parade Passes By," and Kelli O'Hara (with Matthew Bomer) on "It Only Takes a Moment."

Broadway legend Chita Rivera sang and danced to "I Don't Want to Know" and the tribute concluded with "I Am What I Am" and "The Best of Times".

Tune in to catch this and the additional tributes tonight!
