Variety writes that stage and screen star Judd Hirsch will co-star as 'Abe' in the ABC's FOREVER drama pilot, written by Matt Miller.

FOREVER follows NYC medical examiner Dr. Henry Morgan who is drawn to studying the dead because he, himself, is immortal. Through work with Detective Jo Martinez and his best friend Abe (played by Hirsch), viewers will learn about Henry's long and interesting life.

Hirsch's TV credits include Perception, Maron, The Good Wife, Damages, Warehouse 13, Numb3rs, Regular Joe, George & Leo, Dear John, Taxi and more.

The actor made his Broadway debut in Barefoot in the Park in 1963. He has since starred on the Great White Way in Knock Knock, Chapter Two, Talley's Folly - I'm Not Rappaport and Conversations With My Father - both for which he received the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play - and A Thousand Clowns, Art, and Sixteen Wounded.
