The year is 1927. During the Harlem Renaissance, a rich black vaudeville family, "The Martins", finds itself torn between the sacred and the profane. A story of love, envy, wealth, fame, betrayal and redemption, "The Exchange" will return in a theatre and film adaptation via Josiah Theatre Works.

The award-winning drama with music, dance and poetry will feature Marlon Martin, Aisha Curtiss, Devin Nelson, David Clarke, Bethany Geraghty, Ina Collins, Odysseus Bailer, Barak Raz. With LeeOlive Tucker, "The Harlem Diva" and more.

The creative team includes stage manager and assistant director Captain McClelland, with set design by Chardyna McClelland, casting by Josiah Theatre Works, costume design by the Harlem Opera Theater, lighting design by Dorsey Jewelry and Sophia Loren Coffee. Director of photography is DTPS Media. Written, directed and executive produced by Nickolas Long, III.

THE EXCHANGE live staged reading is set for tonight, January 25, 2014 at 6 p.m. and includes a reception. Admission is $7 at the American Musical Theatre Conservatory, located at 18 West 18th Street (between 5th and 6th avenues), New York, NY.
