John Gallagher, Jr. Deidre Goodwin and More In 8th 'Battery's Down' Episode

The eighth episode of the showbiz-themed web series "The Battery's Down," which chronicles the life of a young performer in New York City, will feature Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening, Rabbit Hole), Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line, 30 Rock), Eric Roediger (Spelling Bee), Jay Russell (Around The World In 80 Days), Emily Walton (Saved), Matthew Nardozzi (Inherit The Wind), and Tyler Maynard (The Little Mermaid, Altar Boyz) who is reprising the role of Pepe.

Jake Wilson, a University of Michigan graduate, plays himself in the original series consisting of 20-minute episodes that debut the first of each month. Directed and written by Wilson, the latest episode, entitled "Sorry -  Grateful," will premiere September 1st at 12:01 AM.

Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee, Seussical), Cortney Wolfson (Les Miserables, Legally Blonde), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), Nina Sturtz, and Adam Wachter (Spelling Bee at Barrington) will once again join Wilson as series regulars for Episode 8.  The episode will feature two original songs; "Down! Down! Down!" by Michael Patrick Walker (Altar Boyz, Johnny and the Sprites) and "Speeding 'Til Tomorrow" by Sean Mahoney (Factory Girls).
