John Arthur Greene Hosts A Concert At Bar East June 30

Broadway's John Arthur Greene will host a concert with band members Brian Gallager and Wilson Torres at Bar East on June 30th at 11pm. Greene was recently seen on Broadway as Riff in the 2009 Arthur Laurent's Directed revival of West Side Story. Greene was also recently seen in the Broadway-Bound Chicago production of the Whoopi Goldberg produced musical, White Noise. The concert will debut Greene's writing and singing talents with such original works as Over You/Brooklyn, Crazy, and Devil's Bar and will be hosted at Bar East at 90th Street and first avenue at 11pm on June 30th, 2011. The concert is produced by Antonio R. Marion in association with Marion Theatrical Productions, LLC and John Arthur Greene. Born in North Carolina, John Arthur grew up in Plano, Texas and Greenwich, Connecticut. His teenage years were spent training at the prestigious North Carolina Theatre where he was instrumental in helping to launch the NCT Kids on Broadway both as a performer and a fund raiser, producing and directing the twenty thousand dollar Kids on Broadway Benefit in 2004. The NCT Theatre experience created avenues for John Arthur to be on the cutting edge and explode the boundaries while working under great directors/choreographers and conductors, as well as study the art and craftsmanship of acting along with the singing and dancing with top professionals and perform with top talent in the profession.
Now at the tender age of twenty two, Greene's Theater credits include Alter Boyz, South Pacific, Jekyll & Hyde, A Chorus Line, Mame, Tick...Tick...Boom, Oklahoma, Broadway Rocks with Terrance Mann, Alice Ripley, Anthony Rapp, Daphine Rubin-Vega, and Deborah Gibson. His Film & Television credits include Dirt Nap, The Thomas Crown Affair, You've Got Mail, Lost World and Planet Lunch Variety Packs.
