He is the founding music director of the acclaimed concert series If It Only Even Runs A Minute, as well as the co-creator of The Village Gate's Old-Fashioned Piano Party, a weekly music-theatre open mic night at The Gallery at le Poisson Rouge. He is the recipient of the Alan Menken Award at New York University, where he received his degree in composition.

Tickets are $10, in addition to a $15 food/beverage minimum. A full dinner menu is available. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located downstairs at The West Bank Cafe, 407 W. 42nd Street. Reservations can be made by calling (212) 695-6909.
