Jazz at Lincoln Center Receives $20 Million Donation from Robert J. Appel

According to the New York Times, philantropist Robert J. Appel just donated $20 million to Jazz at Lincoln Center-the largest single private contribution to support jazz music ever. The donation will aim to "help promote the center's global initiatives of audience development and jazz advocacy."
