In Episode 407 of "Something New" -- the musical theatre podcast that interviews artists and premieres original songs -- award-winning songwriter Joel B. New sat down with Farah Alvin, a Broadway actress and Holistic Health Counselor.

Farah Alvin's Broadway credits include: It Shoulda Been You, Nine, The Look of Love, Saturday Night Fever, Grease!, A Christmas Carol. Off-Broadway credits and Original Cast Recordings include: The Last Smoker In America, The Marvelous Wonderettes (Drama Desk Nomination), I Love You Because, and many more. She is also a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and SUNY Purchase and is AADP certified. Her private nutrition practice works with individuals to find health and balance in their life through better eating and lifestyle. She's also a songwriter and a sometimes blogger. Joel is currently in pre-production for his solo EP Cabot Cove, a collection of songs inspired by book titles referenced to in the TV series Murder, She Wrote, starring Tony Award winner Angela Lansbury.
