HomeGrown Theatre begins its 2014-15 season this September with Polaroid Stories by Naomi Iizuka. Iizuka's 1997 deconstruction of Ovid's Metamorphoses sets the historic cannon of Greek Mythology in the streets of the present day urban United States and fills the roles of gods and goddesses with a cast of disenfranchised street dwellers and travelers. Polaroid Stories confronts these tales of morality with nontraditional definitions of love, change and control through the hard-hitting language and action of 20th century street life and social decay.

Directed by Kyle Daniel Barrow and assistant directed by Sarah A. Gardner. Ensemble featuring Jaime Nebeker, Jen Stockwell Doner, Loren Jones, Veronica Von Tobel, Leah Reynolds, Jeremiah Robert Wierenga, Kelly Lynae Robinson, Chad Ethan Shohet, Adrian Leon, and Kyle Daniel Barrow.
