HIDEAWAY brings its first dark, twisted circus to Brooklyn this fall with SLUMBER. Set in a gritty, neon-lit environment and underscored by electronic pop music, SLUMBER follows a breathtaking girl squad comprised of elite international circus performers and dancers on the last night of their lives.

Featuring choreography by MTV Video Music Award nominees Keone and Mari Madrid (Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself", "So You Think You Can Dance"), the show takes the audience on a terrifyingly fun ride as they watch the best friends get killed off by one of their own. Who lives? Who dies? You decide. The world premiere of SLUMBER will run from October 6 to November 6, 2016 at House of Yes (2 Wyckoff Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237)

The cast of SLUMBER will feature Laurie Hagen (Vegas Nocturne, Winner of Most Innovative Award at Burlesque Hall of Fame), Olga Karmansky (Pippin, US Champion and two-time Pan American Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics), Anya Sapozhnikova (House of Yes founder), Joren Dawson (Traces, Club Swizzle), Melissa Aguerre, Lee Hubilla, Bokyung Park, and Lisa Sainvil.

SLUMBER will feature the music of Icona Pop, Halsey, Animal Collective, Selena Gomez, Birdy and more.

The production is being produced by Lyndsay Magid and directed by Josh Aviner. Together, they are the founders of HIDEAWAY, a Brooklyn-based circus and theatrical Production Company creating live and virtual experiences.

"SLUMBER is like nothing you've seen before," said producer Lyndsay Magid. "It combines theatrical storytelling with killer dance and jaw dropping circus in an original, exciting, and even scary way. Hideaway is thrilled to be collaborating with Keone, Mari and the team at House of Yes to bring this one of a kind event to New York, just in time for Halloween."

Said Josh Aviner, director: "We're taking circus in a new direction, one that features a unique story with compelling characters and centers around eight of the most talented dancers and circus artists in the world. Come expecting the unexpected."

SLUMBER will be the House of Yes's first multi-week run of a full-scale, contemporary circus production. Located in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the House of Yes is a 7,000 square foot venue that can best be described as part-theater, part-night club, part-cinema, part-performance art space, and part-brunch joint. Since reopening in December of 2015, founders Anya Sapozhnikova (who will be co-starring in SLUMBER) and Kae Burke have programmed cutting edge and immersive shows and parties into the space. (Did we mention there's a hot tub on the roof?)

"House of Yes and the projects it contains are extremely autobiographical. We perform what we feel. And what we feel is what anyone in the situation of being young, passionate and powerful would feel: present, terrified, and turned on," said Anya Sapozhnikova, House of Yes owner and SLUMBER cast member. "A show like SLUMBER allows us to share these very real feelings with the audience, and it allows us to invite them into our world."

SLUMBER is choreographed by the husband and wife team Keone and Mari Madrid. They've choreographed for Justin Bieber, Mark Ronson, Flying Lotus & Kendrick Lamar, a New York Times Square Billboard, "So You Think You Can Dance", the "Ellen Show", SKY A 3D Musical, and "Dancing with the Stars" and starred in Justin Bieber's video for "Love Yourself." Together, they've been nominated for best choreography at the MTV Video Music Awards and the UK Video Music Awards, and have won multiple championships at major dance competitions. As YouTube stars, their videos and videos they've starred in have garnered millions of views. To learn more about Keone and Mari, visit keoneandmari.com.
