Gray Line New York To Induct Joan and Melissa Rivers Into Its Ride of Fame

Gray Line New York, New York City's premier double-decker bus and motorcoach tourism company, has announced that TV stars Joan and Melissa Rivers will be inducted into its "Ride of Fame IIi" campaign. With this initiative, Gray Line New York recognizes and honors commendable celebrities from around the world who have influenced New York City, with its "Immortal", "IT" and "imminent" time capsule by bestowing a bus in its fleet to each dedicatee.

Joan and Melissa will cut the ribbon during a ceremony where a custom decal displaying their likeness on the front of the vehicle will be unveiled. In addition to a signature, open-top red double-decker bus featuring a custom decal on the front, inductees of the new 'Immortal, It, Imminent' chapter of the Ride of Fame, like Joan and Melissa Rivers, will also be honored with a "permanent seat" on their bus, outfitted with their signature decal. The induction ceremony will take place on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Pier 78 (455 12th Avenue at 38th Street) at 12:00 PM EST.

Joan and Melissa Rivers are currently celebrating the season three premiere of their hit WE tv's series, Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? which is set to air on Saturday, February 23rd, at 9PM.

Past Ride of Fame honorees include: Liza Minnelli, Donald Trump, Joe Namath, Whoopi Goldberg, Vanessa Williams, Bernadette Peters, Walt Frazier, Richard Dreyfuss, Rachael Ray, New York Ranger, Henrik Lundqvist, Cyndi Lauper, Marc Anthony, Kenneth Cole and legendary New York Yankee, Reggie Jackson.
