Following the September 2010 overdose and death of comedy legend Greg Giraldo his wife, Maryann McAlpin-Giraldo and best friend, Joe Schrank decided to start a foundation to raise money for children like Greg's--children living with addiction.

The foundation, which will be headed by Maryann will raise money to help children attend the Betty Ford Children program and to develop a similar program for the children of NYC.

The sold out beacon Theater show will be the first show with one planned for Los Angeles as well
