The German cast of ROCKY, led by Drew Sarich, recently performed a a medley of 'Eye Of The Tiger,' 'Fight From The Heart,' Gonna Fly Now' on national television and had a little help from the original heavyweight, Sylvester Stallone - click here to check it out!

Rocky, Sylvester Stallone's Oscar-winning underdog story-has inspired an innovative new stage production, brought to extraordinary life by a five-time Tony Award-winning creative team, including director Alex Timbers (Peter and the Starcatcher), book writer Thomas Meehan (The Producers) and songwriting team Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime).

In Germany, American actor Sarich leads the cast as Rocky Balboa, joined by Dutch actressWietske van Tongeren as Adrian. Rocky won the 1977 Oscar for Best Picture, Best Director (John G. Avildsen) and Best Film Editing. It was nominated for Best Original Song, Best Original Screenplay and Best Sound. Sylvester Stallone, who was on hand to promote the event, and Talia Shire were nominated as lead actors; Burt Young and Burgess Meredith were nominated for their supporting roles.

ROCKY opens on Broadway on March 13, 2014, and will be led by Andy Karl (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Jersey Boys) as the title character and Margo Seibert, who will make her Broadway debut as Adrian. Preview performances begin on February 11 at the historic Winter Garden Theatre.

Somewhere in downtown Philadelphia, a down-and-out fighter named Rocky Balboa struggles to stay on his feet. But when the chance of a lifetime comes along, he takes his best shot at becoming a champion... and his last shot at finding first love.

Both an adrenaline-infused spectacle and a surprising tale of blossoming romance between two lonely outsiders, Rocky is a visceral and heart-stopping theatrical experience for everyone brave enough to follow their dream.
