Preview one of the standout songs from A CHRISTMAS MEMORY starring Alice Ripley!

Get a first listen to Tony Award-winning Broadway superstar Alice Ripley performing an impressive musical selection from the new production of A CHRISTMAS MEMORY at Off Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre via a new post on Ripley's official SoundCloud channel.

"I could leave the world with today in my eyes / Today was just as pretty as colored glass," Ripley evocatively sings in the new clip of the endearing tune, "The Kite Song".

Of note, A CHRISTMAS MEMORY also stars Samuel Cohen (ONCE, Irish Rep's DONNYBROOK!), Nancy Hess (CHICAGO), Taylor Richardson (ANNIE), Ashley Robinson (Steve Martin's BRIGHT STAR; the Old Globe, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG; West End), Virginia Ann Woodruff (VIOLET, THE COLOR PURPLE), and 10-year old Silvano Spagnuolo, making his Off-Broadway debut.

The official description of A CHRISTMAS MEMORY is as follows: "Perfect for the holidays, A Christmas Memory is an elegant, heart-warming, musical celebration of a traditional Southern Christmas. Set in Alabama in 1933, Memory tells the story of young Buddy, who is being raised by three eccentric cousins, and their last, precious Christmas together at home. As Buddy and his cousin Sook gather ingredients for their World-Famous Christmas Fruitcake (with one to be delivered to the Roosevelts in the White House!), we are drawn back into a sweet world of innocence... of a warmth and emotion that has all but disappeared."

A CHRISTMAS MEMORY features music by Larry Grossman, lyrics by Carol Hall and book by Duane Poole, based on the short story by Truman Capote.
