The inauguration festivities are in full swing in Washington D.C. and everyone has been waiting and guessing as to what the First Lady, Michelle Obama, will wear to the ball tonight. Will she wear a long gown? Short? Which of the 15-plus American designer's creation will she choose?

For the President's official swearing-in Sunday morning in the Blue Room, the First Lady chose a beautiful blue dress by Reed Krakoff that nearly matched the historic setting's signature drapes.

Krakoff could not be reached for comment at press time reports WWD. Saturday evening, the First Lady wore black pants, a yellow embellished belt and an Alexander McQueen white jacket from the pre-spring 2011 collection to the Kids' Inauguration Concert.
