Finale of Telemundo's LA VOZ KIDS Wraps with a Bang

Sunday's broadcast of Telemundo's "La Voz Kids" delivered 2,601,000 total viewers and 1,338,000 adults 18 to 49, +8% and +11% vs. prior week's broadcast respectively, according to Nielsen. Hosted by TV personality Daisy Fuentes and entertainment host Jorge Bernal, and featuring expert celebrity music coaches Paulina Rubio, Prince Royce and Roberto Tapia, the singing competition helped Telemundo reach its best performance among total viewers and adults 18 to 49 in the network's history during the Sunday 8-11pm daypart with regularly scheduled programming. Premiere-to-date, "La Voz Kids" averaged over 1.1 million adults 18 to 49 and 2.2 million total viewers.

At the local level, "La Voz Kids" was the top-rated television program in New York and Miami among adults 18 to 49, regardless of language. In addition, the grand finale ranked #2 in Los Angeles and Houston, regardless of language.

On the social media front, "La Voz Kids" was the number one broadcast show according to Trendrr with over 85,000 on-air activity and 118,000 for the entire day. On Nielsen's SocialGuide Intelligence Twitter TV Audience ranking, "La Voz Kids" ranked #3 among all programs in broadcast television and #7 for all programs in cable and broadcast together, generating over 73,000 Tweets for the night. On the digital front, the finale of "La Voz Kids" was the #1 viewed content online and on mobile in the Telemundo.com site, registering a total of 43% of online viewers and 56% of mobile users, according to Omniture SiteCatalyst.

Twelve-year-old Cuban singer Paola Guanche, a member of Prince Royce's team, was named the first "La Voz Kids" winner by the voting audience during the special three-hour finale on Telemundo on Sunday night. After 13 successful weeks, "La Voz Kids" celebrated its grand finale in a magical evening with special performances by international recording artist Ricky Martin, who captivated the audience with a stunning performance of his new single, "Come With Me;" Mexican singer Ana Barbara premiered for the first time on television, "Yo Soy La Mujer," the theme song from Telemundo's new prime time telenovela "Marido en Alquiler"; and award-winning pop/bachata singer-songwriter - and now winning coach - Prince Royce, charmed the audience with his current hit, "Darte un Beso."
