Fiddlehead Theatre to Present JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, 4/24-5/3

Fiddlehead Theatre Company, the Resident Theatre Company of the historic Strand Theatre (543 Columbia Road, Dorchester, MA), ends their 2014-2015 season with the Tony-Award winning rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar, directed and costumed by Fiddlehead's Associate Producing Artistic Director Stacey Stephens, from April 24-May 3, 2015. Loosely based on the Gospels' accounts of the last week of Jesus' life, Jesus Christ Superstar is a timeless work set against the backdrop of extraordinary and universally-known series of events. Fiddlehead takes on a modern interpretation of this centuries-old story, creating a musical experience that resonates in today's society. Performance tickets for Jesus Christ Superstar are $25-$45 each, special discounts available for Seniors, Students and Dorchester residents. Discounts for groups of 15 or more. Jesus Chris Superstar is the final of three Tony-Award winning rock musicals presented by Fiddlehead Theatre Company in their 2014-2015 season, which have included the successful runs of Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA in October 2014 and The Wiz in February 2015.
