Fashion Photo of the Day 11/20/13 - Kiernan Shipka

It's been far too long since I've seen one of my favorite fashionistas in the making - Kiernan Shipka. Shipka hit the carpet for the LA premiere of Catching Fire in a fantastic Miu Miu mini with a sequin collar and pockets. I love how Miu Miu has become the go-to label for young stars like Shipka and Halle Steinfeld. They both obviously have great taste, a wonderful sense of style and a sophistication well beyond their years. But Miu Miu is fun, flirty with a touch of whimsy.

This dress hits every note for me. It's super easy to wear but has a ton of style, and it's timeless. Shipka styled it beautifully with natural makeup and simple hair. And I love her shoe choice! She could have gone with a black maryjane but instead she opted for a modern twist on the style. I always love seeing Shipka's fashion choices and they always make me smile. I have said it before and I will say it again: she is one to watch and I cannot wait to continue witnessing her fashion journey!
